Behavior Response to Intervention (BRtI)

School-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (SW-PBIS) is the application of evidence-based strategies and systems to assist schools in decreasing problem behavior, increasing academic performance, increasing safety, and establishing positive school culture.

SW-PBIS is not a curriculum, intervention, or practice, but is a decision-making framework that guides the selection, integration, and implementation of the best evidence-based academic and behavior outcomes for all students.

RFISD is currently in Year 1 of implementation through the Education Service Center Region 2.
