Bond Overview

The Aransas County ISD Board of Trustees voted during a board workshop on Monday, February 14, 2022, to call a School Bond Election for May 7, 2022.

The bond proposal was developed by a Bond Advisory Committee, made up of parents, students, community, school board, and staff representatives, engaged in researching and examining the prospect of a future bond referendum to address existing and new facilities in Aransas County ISD. The bond referendum presented to the Aransas County ISD Board addresses aging buildings, increases safety and security, and prepares the district for future growth.

Bond 2022 asks voters to consider a $66 million bond package providing for the construction and renovation of classroom spaces at both Rockport-Fulton High School and Fulton Learning Center along with additional construction and renovations to the baseball/softball fields, Rockport-Fulton Middle School, and other priority maintenance projects.
