CLASS SUPPLIES 2019-20
Bring a pencil to class each day we complete written assignments.
We will know in advance if only computers will be used.
Each student is encouraged to use a pocket folder with brads or a 1-inch, three-ring binder for class. Being organized and having study guides to use as a reference will help students be successful in their Spanish 2 course.
Students must ask permission and receive permission in order to use an electronic device in the classroom.
Students are expected to put away electronic devices during class unless permission is asked and given for academic use. Sometimes students will be allowed to use devices as part of a daily lesson. Computer lab time is also scheduled for some lessons.

The RFHS Spanish Club is a social club for members to share interests, build leadership and social skills, and plan as well as participate in events together. Members do not have to be Spanish class students.
During the 2019-20 school year and hosted by the ACE Program, club members and officers will have the opportunity to plan meetings and activities.
Last year the Spanish Club donated new plush toys to the annual Teddy Bear Bike Ride. New plush toys were donated to riders to take by police escort from the Bay Area Bicycles to Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi. Members hosted a Día de los Muertos face painting and photo booth. The club participated in Homecoming activities. Members also designed a club t-shirt and planned social events.
This year members have already served as volunteers during the Little Bay Labor Day Music Festival weekend event, with a featured Fiesta en La Playa celebration for the community. We also had a Homecoming mum and garter craft day during one of our gatherings. The Spanish Club had two Homecoming representatives during Homecoming Week. To launch this year's plush toy drive for the Teddy Bear Bike Ride to Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, the club hosted a movie night and lock-in. RFHS students were able to donate a toy and enjoy social time with planned activities until sunrise.
THE SPANISH CLUB IS CURRENTLY COLLECTING PLUSH TOYS FOR THE ANNUAL TEDDY BEAR BIKE RIDE TO DRISCOLL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL HOSTED BY CC BICYCLES IN CORPUS CHRISTI.
