About Me

I am excited to be teaching in Rockport this year.  I am a Rockport-Fulton graduate.  I have been a Math Teacher for 23 years.  I started out as a Coach and Math teacher at Rockport-Fulton Middle School.  Currently I teach Geometry and Algebra 2 at the High School.  I am married to my high school sweet heart, Angela.  We have two children, Drew, who is a freshman at TAMUCC, and Nate, who is in the 9th grade.  I am looking forward to great year at RFHS.

My Interests

Being a Rockport Native, I love to fish year round, either from my boat, kayak or wading.  There is nothing better than sight casting for redfish on a beautiful South Texas Morning.  I enjoy watching and participating in lots of sporting events, such as football, basketball, golf and track & field.

Being a RFHS graduate, I had the pleasure of singing for Martha Luigi.  Singing and playing the guitar are still important in my life today.  I have been blessed to participate in Choirs, Quartets and Praise & Worship Bands with my local church.  I even get the occasional opportunity to sing the National Anthem at our local games.
