About Me

I received a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 1977.  I completed a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Early Childhood Education in 1986.  My husband and I have lived in Rockport for 36 years. We enjoy camping and hiking in Colorado and New Mexico during my summer break. We have two daughters and one son-in-law.  Our oldest daughter, Erin, graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 and Texas State University in 2005. She lives in Austin, Texas. Our youngest daughter, Kellie, graduated from the  University of Texas in 2010 and UT Dallas in 2014. She lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband Matt. This will be my 30th year as an early childhood teacher (14 years at ABC Learning Center and I am starting my 16th year at Little Bay Primary). Mrs. Pieper will be my teaching partner and she will teach math, science and social studies to both of our classes and  I will be teaching the English Language Arts and Reading  portion of the day for both of our classes. I am very excited about teaching young children to read and write!

My conference time is 8:45-9:35 every day.  Please call 790-2000 if you need to set up a time to meet with me.
