About Me

I received a BS in Elementary Education at the University of Texas, a M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from Tarleton State University, and  Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from TAMU-CC. I have been actively involved in the Association for Child and Adolescent counseling for 10 years. I have been a school counselor for 12 years, and I love working with middle school students. My husband and I have lived in Rockport for over 22 years, and we have three grown children and six grandchildren.

My Interests

I really enjoy traveling, and my husband and I travel to Colorado every summer. We also enjoy riding our scooters and his motorcyle. I love spending time with my grandchildren! I also enjoy spending time reading and cathcing up on recent research on adolescent development and counseling. I am currently President of the Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling - keeps my busy!
