About Me

I was born and raised in South Texas, and my ancestors were among the first to settle the Rockport and Lamar area. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Marine Biology and found my love of teaching while working as a teaching assistant during my Master's Degree.

I live in Portland, Texas with my wife and two boys. We love all things related to football, food, and traveling. My youngest son plays football and my oldest son is a student assistant coach at Mary Hardin Baylor, which means we do a lot of local traveling during the fall. However, in the summer we have always had the tradition of loading up the car and traveling across the U.S. for two weeks.

Mission Statement

My mission is to help students find their passion for science, inspire them to be conservators of the world they live in, and to help students achieve their higher education goals by beginning with the end in mind.

My Interests

My interest include Faith, Family, Football, Travel, and Photography
