Pirates and Valence finished strong.  Both the Pirates and Valence were in a three team alliance in the semi-finals before falling just short.

The Pirates won the Collins Aerospace Innovate Award Winner and placed 3rd in the top award known as the Inspire award.  Team Valence won the Think award for their engineering process.  The Doppler Effect got second place in the Collins Aerospace Innovate Award Winner.

Due to their strong showing, both Valence and the Pirates earned the right to advance to the Region tournament at New Braunfels next month – Feb. 21st – 23rd.
