Soccer Teams Greet LOLC Students and Parents

A big thank you to the parents of Aransas County came from the Rockport-Fulton High School Lady Pirate soccer team when they visited Live Oak Elementary School during morning drop off.  Players greeted parents and students and spent some time with our future RFHS student-athletes.  The Lady Pirates encouraged students to remain positive and motivated to do well in school.  Principal Scott Rogers commented: “Our Lady Pirate soccer team has done an outstanding job of representing RFHS and sharing time with the youngest Pirates.  Coach Mitchell Lynch and our community are very proud of them, and we all wish them continued success.”  The Lady Pirates are in the playoffs and their next game is Thursday versus Gonzalez High School.

Members of the Rockport-Fulton High School playoff bound soccer team visited the younger Pirates at Live Oak Elementary School and encouraged them to work hard in school and to be involved in extracurricular activities.  Principal Scott Rogers commented: “I'm very proud of our soccer team and appreciate Coach Mike Elkin's leadership.  Whenever the older students spend time with our younger ones, it builds a positive environment through encouragement and gratitude.  Our players believe they have a larger team who they represent.”  The Pirates soccer team plays in La Vernia tonight, and when they win, they play again on April 2nd.
