Students Paint, Draw & Photograph Their Way To State!

RFHS Advances to State at VASE
RFHS Advances to State at VASE
Art and Photography teachers Alex Pena, Maria Nesbit and Katie Ledbetter would like to share the results of the Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) held this past Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Tuloso Midway HS. RFHS was well represented with 34 students competing with 44 artworks. Thirty-nine of our students' artworks received a Superior Rating of IV and advanced to Area. From Area, 8 of those artworks advanced to State! Out of all of the schools attending, we have the most pieces from one school going to state!

Posters of the pieces making it to state will be displayed in the Commons and pieces of artwork that did not make it to State will be displayed in the Library at the high school!

Please congratulate all our students on creating amazing pieces of artwork!
