Patricia Kenjura
Patricia Kenjura
Today we celebrate the counselors at Rockport-Fulton High School.

We will start out by introducing you to Patricia Kenjura who has been in the field of education for 13 years. Here is a little more about her….
In what areas of education have you worked?
8th grade science teacher for 3 years, Culinary Arts instructor for 4 years and High School Counselor 6th year
What are you most proud of?
Professionally - being a counselor and working with an awesome staff at RFHS.  Personally - my family What is your favorite part about being a school counselor? My favorite part of being a school counselor is building relationships, getting to know the students, being there for them during the difficult moments and celebrating the accomplishments.  What is a fun fact about you? Before I began my career in education, I was a restaurateur with my husband for 20 years.

Next, we have Morgan Melde. Morgan has been in education for 8 years.
In what areas of education have you worked?
8th grade ELA & ESL Teacher, HS English IV Teacher, HS Counselor
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the opportunities I have had in serving students and their families. Whether I was teaching, coaching, or counseling, I have been trusted to be a mentor and advocate for students. I find value in relationship building and helping others.
What is your favorite part about being a school counselor?
My favorite part about being a school counselor is seeing the student grow and mature during the four years they are in high school. When they come to us with eager eyes, entering 9th grade, and leave us four years later, walking the stage at graduation, they have become young adults and are ready to conquer the world. Being able to serve students and their families during this process is a special experience.
What is a fun fact about you?
A fun fact about me is that I am an eligible member of the Daughter's of the Republic of Texas.
