Pirate Softball Is Not Over...It's To Be Continued!!!

Friday, April 28th, the Pirate Softball went to battle in a one shot playoff game versus the Rio Hondo Lady Cats.  The Pirates came out strong and took the early lead but it was not enough to hold off the Lady Cats.  The game ended up being a heart breaker for our team as we lost the lead in the bottom of the 5th inning and suffered a 12-5 defeat.

It certainly was not the outcome we worked for but I am extremely proud of the way our girls battled and never gave up.   All season, they have faced many obstacles and setbacks and it would've been easy to make excuses but this team did the opposite-  THEY FOUND A WAY-THE PIRATE WAY!

They made sacrifices and played roles (positions) that set the TEAM up for success.  The sacrifices made revealed the true grit and character of our PIRATE athletes.  The determination and efforts put forth has lead them to post-season play four of the last five years.  Please congratulate the girls on a hard fought, never give up, never give in, solid season.

PIRATE SOFTBALL is not over…  It's…
