At Rockport Fulton High School, Gifted and Talented learners must be enrolled in at least one pre-AP, AP, or dual credit class each year.  Additionally, each student will be assigned a mentor who will serve as his/her academic guide throughout the year. Students will pursue a focused learning opportunity, generally through a Texas Performance Standards Project, that centers on one major area of concentration that meets the individual student's needs and desires.  RFHS recognizes that our GT learners are passionate about different topics. As such, our goal is to help students focus on a self-selected area of interest and, through a one-on-one mentorship, take them through an inquiry-based process that results in a culminating product highlighting their research skills. An end-year showcase event will highlight the students' projects and presentations.
