About Me

I am originally from the Texas Panhandle. I have lived there most of my life until I attended college at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. My family has visited here during vacation and I absolutely fell in love with this area. I told my parents that I would one day live here, and here I am! I am excited to begin my sixth year teaching art at RFHS!

Syllabus 2012-2013

I expect each of my students to work hard and try their best when making art. I understand not everyone is an artist that joins this class, but everyone is expected to participate and gain experiences these classes have to offer. You never know, you just might learn something new about yourself through your art work!

Please see the list of supplies that will need to be brought to class.

I strictly enforce district wide policies.

Daily work and Sketch book assignments and Critiques will count 20%

Quizzes and Practice assignments will count 30%

Tests and Projects will count 50%

Depending on the length and complexity of a project, it is possible for that project's grade to be counted twice.
