Christina Spears Selected as New RFMS Principal!

ACISD Superintendent Joseph Patek has announced that Christina Spears has been selected as the new Principal at Rockport-Fulton Middle School.

Upon her selection, Patek stated, “Christina has worked for ACISD since 1995 as a teacher, a Science subject area coordinator, Assistant Principal at Live Oak Learning Center, and Assistant Principal at the Middle School for the last two years. Mrs. Spears has twenty years alone invested in the Middle School. ACISD is lucky to have such an outstanding performer like Mrs. Spears. I know she will continue to be a valuable asset to the district as the Principal of Rockport-Fulton Middle School.”

Effective July 10, 2019, Spears will replace Michael Hannum, who has accepted a position as Superintendent with Katherine Anne Porter School in Wimberley, TX. Spears holds a Master's Degree in Education from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and has been an educator since 1995. Spears has deep roots in the community.

Spears stated, “I am so humbled to be chosen as the RFMS Principal. I am excited to work with the staff and student body, community and ACISD leadership team as we continue to build a safe, caring and encouraging campus.”

Congratulate Mrs. Spears when you see her out and about town!
