The Aransas and San Patricio County Soil and Water Conservation District held its annual poster and essay contest. The goal is to promote awareness of the need to conserve natural resources. The contest is open to K-12 schools in these counties. The local conservation district is part of the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service. Students from Fulton once again dominated the results taking five of the six top places. The winners are featured below right to left:

3rd place poster - 4th grade, Caitlyn Ramaker
These students will be interviewed and photographed at school by the USDA staff the morning of February 21st. They will be treated to a barbecue dinner along with their families and teachers on April 18th at the Sinton High School cafeteria . There will be Powerpoint presentation honoring these winners during the dinner. Winners will then receive plaques and monetary awards. Way to go FLC students !
