Captain Book Promotes Little Bay Primary Students to Treasure Reader First Mates Print Published: January 30, 2013 Updated: 4:26 PM on March 06, 2013

Captain Book promoted 38 Little Bay Primary students to the rank of First Mate during a special ceremony held on January 25th in the Little Bay Library. These students submitted five or more Treasure Reader forms before January 18th.  Captain Book was excited to learn students are reading and writing in the classroom and encouraged them to keep up the good work. To date, Little Bay Treasure Readers have read over 8,600 books with their families. Captain Book will return in May to promote Treasure Readers to the high rank of captain. To qualify, students must complete and submit nine or more Treasure Reader forms before May 13, 2013. Forms can be downloaded from Little Bay’s Library Central web page or picked up at the Little Bay Library.
